312 DR – The Dawn Way is built by dwarves of the Wyvernwatch Mountains.
479 DR – Aljayera Tor’al S’nae born.
882 DR – Illithids first move into the underdark regions beneath Haranshire.
886 DR – The Restilor Empire solidifies control of most of the Western Shaar, from Haranshire to the Elsir Vale. The Dawn Way becomes a major trade route.
989 DR – Finslayer created by the ranger Pajarifan Sen’Talin Darkel to aid against a Kuo-Toa menace.
1014 DR – Pajarifan Sen’Talin Darkel perishes at the hands of Kuo-Toa.
1148 DR – Dennovar founded.
1151 DR – Terrelton founded.
1152 DR – Darafayen born.
1153 DR – The Parlfray family is granted title, and given countship of Haranshire. Spire Keep is built by Count Sarden Parlfray.
1156 DR – Brindol founded.
1189 DR – Spire Keep is attacked by orcs. The keep holds, but Count Lothar Parlfray perishes during the attack.
1202 DR – Mining operations begin in the Blanryde Hills. The Slug is excavated over the next four years.
1206 DR – Milbourne and Thurmaster founded.
1277 DR – Sylvan Tyr’Nas Vierkah is born to Menaweyn Vierkah and Elensar Sol ‘Golradir.
1279 DR – Rhest is destroyed by a large orcish raiding party from the Wyrmsmoke Mountains. The warband suffers heavy losses and disbands after sacking the city.
1281 DR – Spire Keep once again attacked by orcs. Count Elman Parlfray was away from the keep at the time. The keep was destroyed, and there were no survivors. Count Elman founds Parlfray Keep and bans all speech about the debacle.
1282 DR – The Restilor Empire collapses under civil strife, magical blights, monstrous incursions from the Wyrmsmoke Mountains. Many villages are destroyed or are forced to fend for themselves, especially those along the Dawn Way in the Elsir Vale. Parlfray Keep becomes independent, and Count Elman Parlfray declares himself Lord of Haranshire. The coastal cities of Derlusk, Theymarch, Yallasch, Ormpur, and Sheirtalar break away and become independent city states.
1284 DR – Patchwork Hills carved into terraces.
1315 DR – Tauster arrives in Thurmaster.
1318 DR – Lyntern Parlfray born.
1321 DR – The Ghostlord settles in the eastern Thornwaste.
1339 DR – Garlstone Mine ceases to be profitable and is abandoned.
1343 DR – A merchant builds half a bridge (“The Folly”) across the river at Milbourne. He leaves in embarrassment.
1351 DR – The Carman family builds a log dam, creating the Eelhold reservoir.
1352 DR – Lizardmen attack Thurmaster. Wall built. Lizardmen defeated by mercenaries hired by Count Lyntern Parlfray.
1358 DR – The Time of Troubles occurs. The Shaar is largely unaffected.
1361 DR – Kuiper Telmarin born.
1369 DR – Oleanne Windsong born. Lyntern Parlfray’s mercenaries begin a campaign against the orcs of the Thornwood. They meet with moderate success, but the expense proves great and Parlfray soon discontinues efforts. 1370 DR – Jelenneth Sandorall born.
1372 DR – Joseph Parlfray born. Kerden Jaarmath becomes Lord of Brindol.
1373 DR – Eelhold dam breaks, flooding the farms and villages to its south. Tauster binds a Water Elemental to a ring and entrusts it to the druid Kuiper Telmarin.
1381 DR – Hobgoblins of the Great Rock Dale raid Haranshire during the “bitewinter”. Kuiper Telmarin leads efforts to drive them off.
1383 DR – Immerstal the Red arrives in Brindol.
1385 DR – The ring entrusted to Kuiper Telmarin is stolen. Soon after, a newly formed band of goblins known as the Goblins of the Ring settle the western Patchwork Hills. The New Mire appears, and starts encroaching on the surrounding farmlands.
1387 DR – Lars Ulverth becomes Captain of the Brindol Guard.
1389 DR – A band of adventurers, led by Sylvan Tyr’Nas Vierkah, arrive at Haranshire.
